There are around 55 national parks in this country. Most of these are located in California and Alaska. God created all of these natural beauties, but there are so many people who work at the park and spend there times in these beautiful places. - There were a few national parks established as early 1872 - The US National Park Service wasn't established until 1916 - People have spent their lives studying, photographing, and protecting these national parks - The untouched land has been a place for people to come and see nature in its purest form - For example, Trevor Lee has been living in Yosemite (est. 1890) to photograph and broadcast his adventures
- I didn't realize that there are so many national parks in our country. - I think that it's important that we have theses places that aren't crowded by people. There are places in our country that are so populated by people who have turned it into a place to fit as many people as possible. While doing this, usually the natural beauty is taken away. - People always say that nature is proof that there must be a creator and a God. With the constant building of buildings, the beauty is taken away. It's good to still have this "proof of God."
Without the Westward Expansion, we wouldn't have all of these National Parks. Many of the parks are on the west side of the country or are because of exploration. Although it was difficult for them to explore and go out of their comfort zone, it opened so many more opportunities and places for people to go and see.
